The Galesburg Public Library Staff are still working to provide support to our community during this challenging time.
The Library collection includes:
The Alliance Digital Media Library collection of ebooks and audiobooks, accessible via the Overdrive and Libby apps,
Additional ebooks and audiobooks through eReadIllinois, Biblioboard, and Tumblebooks,
To access these resources, your students will need
A) a Galesburg Public Library card number
B) a PIN.
Students who do not currently have Galesburg Public Library cards may contact the library by emailing, studentcards@galesburglibrary.org to receive a temporary card number.
In order to receive a temporary card number, a student must submit the following information via email to studentcards@galesburglibrary.org:
Proof of current school enrollment (photo of student ID, screen capture from Skyward, etc.)
Full name
Birth-date
Mailing address
Telephone number
The library staff will create a temporary library card for the student and mail it to the student's home address.
