Mrs. Orellana's 4th grade Social Studies classes are learning all about the last colony of Roanoke & coming up with Their own theories based on the artifacts. I’m confident that 4th grade has quite a few future archaeologists in the making!

This month Mrs. Wright's 2nd and 3rd graders have been studying the sun and moon. The kids enjoyed learning about the phases of the moon with oreos today.
3rd grade escape room-
Today we did a Thanksgiving Escape Room Challenge. Groups had to complete all 5 tasks and put their puzzle pieces that they earned after each task together. The first to complete it and unlock the door to escape won!!

Thank you, OSF Rehab-St. Mary Medical Center! Steele Elementary received a generous donation of coats, hats and mittens to help provide for some of our students during the cold weather months.Thank you!
Due to the wet and slippery conditions, the students will not parade outside today.
Unfortunately, with our space constraints, parking and safety procedures we will not be having an indoor parade for parents.
Rest assured, we will take MANY, MANY pictures and post them to the website.
Also, remember that we are dismissing at 12:00 today.
